Introduction

Life is about growth, movement, perpetual change, interaction with our environment, building and maintaining relationships, and dealing with inevitable conflict. These are the essential elements that we at Raymond Ferrier Coaching & Consulting Associates (RFCCA) engage our clients in.

We address these basic aspects of life through various disciplines including coaching, mediation, somatics, (social) neuroscience, sociology and communication science. In short; we employ a bio-psycho-social approach to improve the health, wellbeing, function and performance of our clients, and help them unlock their unique creative potential.

RFCCA team members are process specialists.  This means that we always start from the premise that the client already possesses the majority of elements needed to succeed. It is our job to help our clients uncover the possibilities already present, and identify the areas of focus to create new habits that will support the desired goals.

In our practice, this particular approach to behavioral change has proven to be superior in building self-efficacy in individuals and organizations compared to the simple transfer of knowledge. As such this approach promotes higher levels of sustainability of the achievements gained during the intervention process.

While empowerment, building- on -strengths -already -present, and self-efficacy are the pillars of our approach, often an integrated transfer of knowledge is necessary to facilitate and speed-up the change processes desired. Therefore, our team members bring to the table an extensive body of knowledge and experience in their respective fields of expertise. This allows them to both honor the client’s process of building competency- in part through trial and error-, and ensure forward motion towards the desired goals. In a process of just-in –time- knowledge –transfer- and –training, forward motion is ensured while self-learning, capacity building and empowerment are maintained.
